ABSENCES FROM SCHOOL
If your child is going to be absent from school, please ensure that you ring us before 10.00am to let us know where your child is. This will avoid us or the Education Welfare Officer from having to contact you as we need to know where all our children are.
Once your child returns to school after any absence it is required that you send us a letter explaining the reasons for the absence .
Our school has a good attendance record.
If your child is late arriving at school, they must come to the school office before going to their classroom.
Holidays taken in term time cannot be authorised.
If you do need to take your child out of school, please either send a letter or speak personally to Mr Buckley to discuss the circumstances. We do need to know where your child is, even though we cannot authorise the absence, so would appreciate parents keeping us informed.
